Made from polyacrylonitrile precursor via pre-oxidation, carbonization and graphitization, it is the most widely used mainstream high-performance carbon fiber. It includes T-series high-strength grades and M-series high-modulus grades, available in small tow and large tow specifications. It features ultra-high specific strength, excellent modulus, light weight, good fatigue resistance and corrosion resistance. Small tow products are used in aerospace, high-end equipment and precision structural parts; large tow products are applied to mass lightweight applications such as wind power, rail transit and new energy vehicles.
